The gang at the research institute prepare for the arrival of a deadly hurricane. Everyone is evacuated except Keith ,Pam , Mike and Maya. Keith and Pam decide to stay because one of the dolphins is pregnant and is due any day. Mike and Maya are taken unwillingly to a shelter for the length of the storm.
     As the storm hits, Mike convinces Maya to leave the shelter to make sure his mother is OK. Meanwhile Pam is hit on the head and injured from the storm.
     Mike and Maya arrive at the house and stay until the storm ends. When the "eye" of the storm is overhead, they head to the institute.
     Keith does his best job to try to stitch up Pam's injury. They realize that there is a problem with the pregnant dolphin. The baby is stuck and she is in labor.
     They argue about what would be the best thing to do about the baby dolphin but the worst of the storm hits and Pam's concern is now the kids.
     Eventually the storm passes and everyone is safe. The Dolphin gives birth without a problem.
