     Flipper wakes Keith and leads him and Pam to a strange set up of equipment on the ocean floor. They discover water pumps, lighting and cameras. When they go back to the institute, they are taken prisoner be two men.
     Keith and pam are taken blindfolded to a strange place where a woman orders them killed. They are tied and taken aboard a boat and just before they are shot they jump overboard. Thinking they are dead, the bad guys leave.
     After nearly drowning, Keith and pam arrive back at the research center (with help from Flipper) Knowing that they are thought dead they go back to the site of the equipment but find nothing except a couple large oysters. They later find that all the oysters contain a perfect pearl.
     When they notice that the oysters are multiplying at an incredible rate, they realize that they have been genetically altered to mass produce and to become "pearl making machines".
     Once they find out who the strange woman that tried to kill them was , Keith and Pam decide to show up to her mansion for a party she is hosting.
     Once again they are caught and put on a boat. This time they are to be killed once and for all. But Flipper saves the day by leaping and knocking the bad guys off the boat. The woman is captured and the "mutant" oysters are destroyed.
