Keith's friend from Cuba, Garcia, shows up at the research center. She asks Keith to take her to find something at the ocean floor. As they arrive in the sub they discover a Russian missile at the bottom.
     When they surface in the sub Keith finds himself at gunpoint. It turns out that Garcia was forced to lead Keith to the missile so that an illegal arms dealer could use Keith's equipment to get to the missile.
     At first Keith refuses to help but soon discovers that they have kidnapped Maya.
     During a dive in the sub, Keith makes a tape of the exact location and tells of what is happening. He puts the tape in a water proof box and sneaks it out to Flipper who brings it back to the institute.
     Pam hears the tape and decides to try to disarm the missile before it gets into the wrong hands. Pam and Mike go to the site and Pam dives to the location and begins work on the missile.
     Later Keith brings the weapon to the dealers boat where he finds that Pam and Mike have now been captured as well. Pam is ordered to remove the plutonium from the warhead. As she works on the missile, it is accidentally "activated" . The bad guys run to the sub and as they prepare to leave Keith locks them in. The "activated" missile was only a smoke bomb that was placed in it by Pam earlier.
