     Pam and Mike are surprised by a visit from Pam's ex- husband Scott. He announces that he will be staying in the area. Pam ( who is busy working on a dolphin communication experiment with Keith ) is upset that he's back but Mike is thrilled. He thinks that there is a chance that his parents can get back together.
     Maya helps Mike by giving him a "magic" potion given to her by her grandmother ( the "witch doctor") that's supposed to make his parents fall in love again.
     After spending many hours with Mike, Scott tells Pam that he wants half custody of Mike (starting another fight). Mike overhears the fight and spends the night with his father.
     The next day, as Keith and Pam succeed with the dolphin communication experiments, Scott takes Mike to learn to pilot a plane. Seeing his father with another woman, Mike takes off by himself and crashes into the ocean. He is trapped under water as he is still strapped into the plane. Fortunately Keith Pam and Flipper come to his rescue. After this incident Pam and Scott promise Mike they will try to work things out.
